Torrey Ritter, FWP nongame biologist based out of Missoula, will speak on:

FWP’s Nongame Wildlife Program and Key Nongame Species in the Ninemile Valley

Torrey will talk about the structure and function of FWP’s nongame wildlife program, including the primary goals of the program, how the program is funded, what guides our work, and examples of specific projects we work on. Torrey will provide a brief overview of the major nongame work going on in west-central Montana, then focus in on the Ninemile Valley and talk about specific habitat types, special habitat patches, and focal species relevant to the Ninemile Valley.
